Code of Conduct

Be the kind of person you'd want at the next table.

The community works because the people in the room treat it like it matters. The rules are short on purpose.

What we expect

  • Curiosity. Show up wanting to learn something.
  • Respect. The room is a mix of seniorities, backgrounds, and specializations. Treat everyone like they belong, because they do.
  • Discretion. What gets said at WSC isn't for LinkedIn, Twitter, or your blog without explicit OK. People talk candidly here because they trust it stays in the room.
  • Honesty about what you don't know. Pretending costs everyone time.

What we won't tolerate

  • Harassment, discrimination, or condescension toward anyone for any reason. We'll ask you to leave and not invite you back.
  • Vendor pitching, lead-mining, or treating the room like a funnel.
  • Recording without consent. No photos of identifiable people without asking.
  • Sharing other attendees' identifying details outside the group.

If something feels off

Pull Sarim or Michael aside at the event, or message us afterward. We take it seriously, we keep it private, and we act on it.
